Engineered to ensure class-leading performance and play a vital role in its agile handling characteristics, all major components and shaft arrangements inside the FE 250 engine are carefully positioned closer to the centre of gravity to reduce the effects of rotational inertia. Tilted two degrees backwards to further centralise mass and 8 mm shorter in height, the 250 cc 4-stroke engine is 100 g lighter for 2024, tipping the scales at just over 27.8 kg.

CYLINDER HEAD
Featuring finger followers treated with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating, the DOHC cylinder head is engineered for high-level enduro performance and is further refined for 2024. The titanium intake valves remain at 32.5 mm while the exhaust valves increase in size to 27.5 mm - a direct result of the new bore/stroke ratio, which in turn optimises gas flow. These revisions allow the FE 250 to rev freely and produce strong and efficient power throughout the rev-range up to its 12,800 rpm limit.
CYLINDER AND PISTON
A new 81 mm bore cylinder houses a forged bridged-box-type piston made by CP. High-strength aluminium is used to manufacture both the cylinder and piston, with both components professionally engineered for outstanding performance and reliability. The stroke has been adapted to 48.5 mm to match the resized cylinder, boosting the compression ratio to 14.4:1 to add further torque and peak power to the FE 250.
EXHAUST
The exhaust system is expertly designed to deliver class-leading performance at the lowest possible weight with the header pipe manufactured in two pieces. This design allows the header pipe to be removed without having to remove the rear shock. Further innovation allows for a short, compact silencer without increasing sound levels. The silencer is crafted from lightweight aluminium and stylishly finished with a black coating to highlight its premium quality.
Undergoing multiple revisions to further enhance its proven technical abilities, the FE 250 features a new engine, frame, and suspension for 2024 for improved performance. Featuring a lightweight, compact, and redesigned engine, all riders are set to benefit from the refinements with the power delivery easily customisable for a personalised riding experience. Together with a new frame and WP Suspension, the rideability and handling are much improved with the revised, ergonomic bodywork offering even greater control. Complete with a fresh, Swedish-inspired look and assembled with premium components throughout, the FE 250 is capable of competing at the highest level of enduro in standard form.
