With the introduction of Throttle Body Injection (TBI) on the TE 250, the 66.4 mm bore cylinder now features an innovative electronic exhaust control system that manages the opening of the lateral exhaust ports after the main exhaust port opens for maximum power delivery. Together with a machined finish on the upper contour of the exhaust port ensuring accurate port timing, unrivalled engine performance is assured.

ENGINE
Delivering the best combination of power and weight, the TE 250 engine is a firm favourite with enduro riders. With the introduction of Throttle Body Injection (TBI) for 2024, the engine delivers improved torque while maintaining its high-revving two-stroke character. Designed to be more compact to reduce overall weight, a total saving of over 1.2 kg when compared to the previous generation underlines the ongoing development of this popular machine. Additionally, the shaft arrangements inside the TE 250 engine are precisely positioned for greater mass centralisation while a counter balancer shaft reduces vibration.
CRANKCASES
Designed to be low in weight without sacrificing strength or reliability, the new crankcases are made using a high-pressure die-cast production process to create a thin-wall design. To centralise engine mass, the shaft arrangements are precisely positioned to harness rotating masses at the ideal centre of gravity.
EXHAUST
Tailored specifically using an innovative 3D design process, the header pipe on the TE 250 offers further improvements in geometry and performance. This allows for improved ground clearance, while a corrugated surface makes the header pipe resistant to impact out on the trail. The muffler also features a new aluminium mounting bracket, new internals and less dense packing material for improved noise damping and weight saving.
Continuing its legacy as the most versatile and competitive 250 cc 2-stroke enduro machine on the market, the TE 250 is further enhanced for 2024 with the latest technical innovations. Considerably lighter overall with almost every component refined, it's the introduction of Throttle Body Injection (TBI) that makes the most significant improvement to the class-leading rideability of the TE 250. Together with new, WP XACT Suspension front and rear, the TE 250 has never handled better thanks to the spring forks offering consistent damping. Overall, the new model delivers the best combination of impressive power and handling and is finished with a striking new look to underline it's continued development.
